SnapDance ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

• Account info: email address, name, and password (for email signup) or TikTok profile data (for TikTok login)
• Selfie photos: images you upload for dance video generation
• Generated videos: AI-generated dance videos created from your selfies
• Usage data: app interactions, generation history, and feature usage (anonymized)
• Device info: device type, OS version, and app version for crash reporting

2. How We Use Your Data

• Generate dance videos from your uploaded selfies
• Provide and improve the SnapDance service
• Send notifications about generation status and new features
• Facilitate TikTok sharing and creator program features
• Analyze anonymized usage patterns to improve the app

3. Selfie & Photo Processing

Your selfies are uploaded to our secure servers solely for AI video generation. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored permanently after generation completes. We use Cloudinary for temporary image hosting during the generation process. We never use your photos for training AI models.

4. Third-Party Services

• Cloudinary: temporary image/video hosting
• TikTok API: OAuth authentication and video sharing
• Firebase: user authentication
• AI generation providers: video generation processing
• Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.

5. Data Storage & Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Account credentials are encrypted. TikTok OAuth tokens are stored server-side only and never sent to the client app. Generated videos are stored temporarily and can be deleted by the user.

6. Your Rights

• Access: request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: update inaccurate personal information
• Deletion: delete your account and all associated data
• Portability: export your generated videos
• Opt-out: disable push notifications and usage analytics

7. Children's Privacy

SnapDance is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Generated videos are stored for up to 30 days after creation unless saved by the user. Upon account deletion, all personal data is removed within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email.
